Use Apple Intelligence to Create Wild and Wonderful iPhone Emoji

Apple is set to launch iOS 18.4 in April; that version should provide new emoji to every iPhone and a new Food area to Apple News. You don’t have to wait for new emoji to arrive on your iPhone, though, if you own an Apple Intelligence compatible iPhone, such as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max or a device from the iPhone 16 series. iOS 18.2 lets those iPhones generate Genmoji bespoke emojis.

New emoji are produced by the Unicode Standard, a global character encoding standard; once a year sanctioned emoji are introduced to every device. Genmoji lets you skip waiting for new emoji to show on your iPhone annually. You can make them as required.

Genmoji lets you design your own unique emoji on iPhone by following these instructions. Remember that you must ask Apple Intelligence for your iPhone before you use it. To accomplish this, tap Get Apple Intelligence under Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri.

Creating unique emojis

Launch Messages and enter a conversation.
2. Use your emoji keyboard—the bottom left corner of your keyboard has a smiley.
Type the emoji you wish to make in the search box, such “raven on a book.”
4. Press Create New Emoji.

Your iPhone will produce a number of new emoji for you to choose from based on your description. Tap Add in the upper right corner of your screen to access the new emoji as an emoji, a tapback, or a sticker when you locate the one you like. You no longer have to wait for the Unicode Standard to suggest, design and deliver new emoji to devices.
