iOS 18.4 Updates Your iPhone with New Emoji, Including My New Favorite

Apple launched iOS 18.4, which included a few new features to all iPhones, such as more controls in Control Center and a recipes section in Apple News. Many of us may identify with the new emoji, which include a paint spatter, a harp, and a weary face with bags under its eyes.

In September, Google released these emoji as part of Unicode 16.0.

Anybody may propose a new emoji concept. New emoji are the result of the Unicode system, a worldwide character encoding system. In November 2024, Unicode suggested nine new emoji, including an orca and a Sasquatch. But they are just suggested emoji. In September, Unicode will choose which emoji to include next.
