A much-anticipated new feature is officially available to YouTube producers. Changing your YouTube channel name and profile picture to better represent your content is now simple and doesn’t need changing the name and image linked to your Google account.

Important information: You will lose your verification badge and have to reapply if you have a confirmed YouTube channel and change the name of your channel. However, changing your name won’t affect your official channel music note or custom URL.
