A Simple Method to Help Clear the Untidy Home Screen on Your iPad

All of the installed apps on your iPad may be easily accessed through the App Library. Social, financial, productivity, travel, and music are just a handful of the categories into which apps are divided. Additionally, you may access a complete alphabetical list of your applications by tapping on the search box located at the top of the App Library.

However, the iPad version of the App Library is located directly in your dock, but the iPhone stores it neatly to the right of every page on your home screen. To be honest, it’s a bit of an ugly and takes up important screen real estate.

You might want to take the App Library off of your iPad’s dock if you don’t use it (perhaps you use Search instead), but it’s not that easy. The App Library cannot be deleted by merely hitting a “x” button while holding down on it, in contrast to the other programs in your dock.

Fortunately, the App Library can be uninstalled. It is just concealed within the iPad’s settings. Additionally, if you’d like, you may simultaneously delete “Recent Apps” from your dock.

How to take the iPad dock’s App Library off

Navigate to the Settings app on your iPad and take the following actions:

1. Select Dock & Home Screen.

2. Toggle off Show App Library in Dock under the Dock section.

The App Library icon will then vanish from your dock, making more space on your dock for other apps. Nevertheless, you can still swipe left on your home screen till the function shows up, so don’t panic. If the App Library isn’t your style, you can also use the search function by swiping down anywhere on your home screen and then inputting the name of the app you’re looking for.
